The figure exceeded 14 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day. The record became possible thanks to the commissioning of the horizontal well K-46.

The new well immediately reached a stable regime with high flow rates. This is facilitated by powerful reservoir pressure, which remains at about 1400 pounds per square inch. The success of K-46 confirmed the effectiveness of the chosen drilling strategy.

At the same time, the company is sinking the next well – K-47. More than 500 meters have been completed so far and completion is expected by mid-May. The well is aimed at the same productive dolomite horizons, which are characterized by high filtration and capacitance properties.

These projects take on special significance against the backdrop of Uzbekistan’s ambitious goal of reaching gas production level 62 billion cubic meters per year by 2030. Each new well contributes to achieving this indicator.

Let us remind you that since 2025, Condor Energies has been working in partnership with the Uzbek side. The company finances all projects at its own expense and then receives a share of the profits. The Canadian operator controls a cluster of eight fields, where production has gradually declined. The commissioning of new horizontal wells allows not only to stop the decline, but also to increase volumes.

Thus, Condor Energies strengthens its position in Uzbekistan, and the republic gains access to modern technologies and investments necessary to stabilize and grow gas production.

Source: @neftegazchannel

Image: Condor Energies Inc.

Canadian company Condor Energies has achieved new maximum daily production at the Kumli field.
