This partnership is designed to unite all links: from field development before the release of finished products.

USA Rare Earth is already preparing to develop the Round Top deposit in Texas, where significant reserves of rare earth elements are concentrated. At the same time, a plant with a capacity of 5 thousand tons of magnets per year is being built in Oklahoma. The launch of the enterprise is planned for 2026, although production at the mine will begin later. Thus, the company is consistently forming a vertically integrated structure within the country.

Arnold Magnetic Technologies has been in business for over 130 years, supplying critical materials to the American defense industry. In addition to facilities in the USA, the company has factories in the UK, Switzerland and even China. This geography allows it to combine global logistics capabilities with deep integration into the national industrial base.

The essence of the new alliance is to close the chain: raw materials from the Texas mine, after processing, will turn into components for permanent magnets, and Arnold will sell them to end consumers. Potential buyers include manufacturers of electric motors, wind turbines, military equipment and other high-tech products, where rare earth materials irreplaceable.

As experts note, the United States and its allies are consistently diversifying their sources of supply, reducing the share of Chinese imports. The new agreement becomes a logical step in this strategy. Given the growing demand for rare earth elements in the green energy and defense sectors, the creation of an independent production base is of particular importance.

Source: Rusmet

Image generated by a neural network

Two American companies – USA Rare Earth and Arnold Magnetic Technologies – have entered into an agreement on the supply and distribution of magnetic materials.
