We used 2D seismic, gravimetry and magnetometry in the difficult conditions of the Sea of Okhotsk.

The research was carried out under a government contract with VNIGNI from October to December. Despite storms and fishing, the vessels processed data on board. The customer accepted the results right on the spot.

The southern part of the Sakhalin shelf has been studied for a long time, but modern technologies will provide new data on the basins. Gravity and magnetic anomalies will show the structure of the subsurface, and seismic will show the prospects for hydrocarbons. Deputy General Director of Rosgeo Arthur Rastrogin noted that a comprehensive analysis will update the model of the region and identify patterns of deposits.

Data will help you evaluate oil and gas potential shelf.
