A new educational center for geologists<\/a>. The Research and Production Center for Geology became the site for the eighth Karpinsky Geological Class in the world. This project expands the international network, bringing together specialists from different countries.<\/p>\n\n\n

The class project supports specialized education and strengthens scientific connections. During the opening, representatives of Belarus and Russia signed a cooperation agreement. The document is aimed at disseminating modern approaches to the study of earthly subsoil<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cIt is important for us that the class is named after an outstanding scientist. Geology remains the fundamental basis for new directions, and it has high potential for our country,\u201d said Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Republic of Belarus Viktor Galanov.<\/p>\n\n\n

The new site in Minsk will host lectures and practical seminars. The program will cover different areas: from field research<\/a> to digital cartography. Particular attention will be paid to work in laboratories. \u201cOur world-class scientific and technical potential will serve the general goals of industry development,\u201d emphasized Pavel Khimchenko, General Director of the Karpinsky Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n

After the ceremony, Russian experts made presentations. They spoke about advanced technologies in geology and the creation of digital models of geological systems. A thematic seminar \u201cInclusive Geology\u201d was also held for the participants and a film about field expeditions was shown<\/p>\n\n\n

The opening of a class in Minsk is a significant step for the development of geology in the region. The project promotes knowledge exchange and trains a new generation of specialists. This strengthens cooperation between countries and opens up new opportunities for practical research.<\/p>\n\n\n

The material was prepared with the support of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science as part of the Decade of Science and Technology. <\/sub><\/p>\n\n\n
