The implementation of this high-tech system is planned for the end of 2025 and will be a new step in the digitalization of gold mining in the Irkutsk region.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A digital twin is a virtual copy of a real production facility, created based on data from hundreds of sensors. Today, automation at the factory exceeds 90%, and the new system will take control over processes to a fundamentally different level. It will allow you to analyze and simulate any equipment operation scenarios in real time.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main practical benefit of the technology is the ability to conduct virtual tests. Technologists will be able to test new operating parameters, for example, for flotation machines or concentrators, without stopping real production. This will significantly speed up innovation and reduce risks. As Konstantin Nemchinov, leading engineer of the automation department, explains, the digital twin is indispensable for improving the technological process and checking all installations.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, the system will become a powerful simulator for operational personnel. It will practice actions in simulated emergency situations, which will improve the skills of workers and the safety of the entire enterprise. The creation of such a detailed digital model was the result of three years of work by a team of specialists.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Vladimir Brednikhin, head of the process control system department, the project has already shown its effectiveness. The implementation of a digital twin helps optimize the consumption of reagents and energy, improves performance forecasting and the quality of the final product, and also accelerates management decision-making.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The launch of a digital twin at the Verninskaya gold processing plant confirms the company\u2019s leading role in the technological development of the industry.
