More than a thousand participants from Russia and other countries began a six-month online course in information modeling to gain in-demand engineering skills.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The engineering division of the state corporation Rosatom announced the start of training for the fourth stream of the Team Juniors project. This six-month online program aims to prepare young <a href=\"https:\/\/geoconversation.org\/geo-obrazovanie\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">specialists<\/a> in the field of information modeling.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1,027 people from 63 regions of Russia, as well as from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey and Egypt applied for the new stream. The participants were high school students, college students and university freshmen. As part of the training, they master practical skills in working with BIM technologies, including creating <a href=\"https:\/\/geoconversation.org\/norilsk-nickel-ai\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">digital twins<\/a>, working with point clouds and the general data environment.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The academic partners of the project are the country&#8217;s leading construction universities &#8211; SPbGASU and NNGASU. Support is provided by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the ANO Neumark University.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since 2022, more than 5,000 schoolchildren and students have completed the educational program. Participants can receive additional points towards their Unified State Examination results upon admission to partner universities, which enhances the practical value of the project.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe launch of the fourth stream of Team Juniors is a logical stage in our systematic work to create an environment for the development of engineers of the future,\u201d said Alexey Agafonov, Deputy General Director for Support and Development of Project Production at Atomenergoproekt JSC. \u201cThe project gives young people the opportunity to immerse themselves in the profession early and gain key competencies for domestic engineering.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The educational project \u201cTeam Juniors\u201d continues to expand its geography and train a new generation of specialists in the field of information modeling.
