The new machine has already entered the line and works on par with other quarry equipment. This is not just a creative move, but an important part of the large-scale corporate project “Girls Rule.” Its main goal is to create comfortable working conditions for women in the coal industry and attract them to working professions.

“For us, this project is about the future, where the company values the contribution of every employee,” notes Anna Demeshkina, Deputy Director of HR at VGK. “We create all the conditions so that women can realize their full potential, building a successful career from basic positions to leadership positions.”

To ensure color durability under the harsh conditions of the cut, more than 50 liters of special resistant paint were required to paint the giant machine. However, the key idea is not the color itself, but the company’s willingness to actively involve women into production processes.

Personnel shortages are forcing coal mining enterprises to look for new approaches to personnel selection. Attracting a female audience who have not previously considered a career in this field is becoming one of the effective solutions. Other companies, for example, Elgeugol, already have experience as women drivers of heavy-duty vehicles, and it has been successfully operating for several years.

The “Girls Rule” project and its bright symbol – a pink dump truck – clearly demonstrate how modern companies adapt to new challenges.
