We are talking about the creation of a National Airborne Geophysical Mapping Program, which was announced by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in his annual message in early September. The head of state emphasized that the large-scale surveys carried out earlier were \u201ccompletely outdated\u201d and ordered the development of modern maps <a href=\"https:\/\/geoconversation.org\/kak-investoru-razobratsya-v-nedrah-i-ne-zakopat-dengi\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">subsoil<\/a> using digital technologies and artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the Council of Domestic Entrepreneurs under the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, representatives of Xcalibur emphasized the importance of modern airborne geophysical methods for attracting investment in geological exploration. The company said that without a highly accurate database based on <a href=\"https:\/\/geoconversation.org\/ai-seismic-interpretation\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">AI<\/a>, the country may lose interest from global investors.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Xcalibur is already operating in Kazakhstan: in 2025, the company completed several large projects for international mining companies using the new generation of lightweight and high-precision gravimeters (iCORUS-iX). By the end of the year, it is planned to launch a new project using artificial intelligence to interpret airborne geophysical data &#8211; one of the first such cases in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company also implements national airborne geophysical programs in Brazil, Mongolia, Zambia and Australia, and has previously completed large-scale work in Saudi Arabia and Angola.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The national airborne geophysical mapping program announced by President Tokayev and the launch of which was confirmed by the Prime Minister could open up new opportunities for Xcalibur&#8217;s participation.
