The project is designed for 2025-2026 and will be an important stage in preparation for development <a data-id=\"https:\/\/geoconversation.org\/chto-meshaet-otkryvat-novye-mestorozhdeniya\/\" data-type=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/geoconversation.org\/chto-meshaet-otkryvat-novye-mestorozhdeniya\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">deposits.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main goal of geological exploration is to clarify the structure of ore bodies and collect data for a feasibility study (TES). The program will include:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lidar topography to create a digital terrain model.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Core drilling with repeated study of wells.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Trenching and sampling using core and furrow methods.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These methods will provide accurate data on ore reserves and quality, which is critical for further investment decisions.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In parallel with geological exploration, Nordgold will conduct environmental monitoring. Specialists will assess the condition:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Soils in the field area.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Water resources of the rivers Hamna, Allah Yun, Kurung Dukat and Orto Dukat.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Bottom sediments to analyze possible impacts on the ecosystem.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This stage of work is aimed at minimizing environmental risks and compliance with environmental regulations.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Preparation of the feasibility study is planned for 2026-2027. Nordgold&#8217;s license for the deposit is valid until 2030-2036, which gives the company enough time to implement the project.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sardana is a promising polymetallic deposit acquired by Nordgold last year. Its development can make a significant contribution to the economy of the region and strengthen the company\u2019s position in the market.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nordgold&#8217;s research at Sardana is an important step towards developing the deposit taking into account modern environmental standards.
