Examining samples <a data-id=\"https:\/\/geoconversation.org\/sposoby-dobychi-zolota\/\" data-type=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/geoconversation.org\/sposoby-dobychi-zolota\/\">gold<\/a> from the Pioneer mine, they discovered rare forms of nanogold that could impact the future of mining and use of this precious metal.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the study it turned out that <a data-id=\"https:\/\/geoconversation.org\/rajony-dobychi-almazov-v-rossii\/\" data-type=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/geoconversation.org\/rajony-dobychi-almazov-v-rossii\/\">field<\/a> There are tiny particles of gold ranging in size from 30 to 1000 nanometers. Among them:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Round particles (30\u2013600 nm).\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Elongated and needle-shaped (up to 1000 nm).\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Ultra-thin gold (less than 50 nm), which cannot be seen under a regular microscope.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Such particles are rarely found in nature, and studying them will help to better understand how gold deposits are formed.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Production efficiency.<\/em> Fine gold is often lost in traditional processing methods. New data will allow the development of more accurate technologies for its extraction.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n<li><em>Application in science and industry.<\/em> Nanogold is used in medicine, electronics and catalysis. The discovery could accelerate the development of these areas.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n<li><em>Search for new deposits<\/em>.
