Participants will be 60 students in grades 7\u201310 from Chita and several regions of the region. The project is being implemented with the support of Norilsk Nickel.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students will be immersed in the world of mining under the guidance of scientists <a data-id=\"https:\/\/geoconversation.org\/ne-byvaet-zhenskih-i-muzhskih-professij\/\" data-type=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/geoconversation.org\/ne-byvaet-zhenskih-i-muzhskih-professij\/\">engineers<\/a> and students of ZabSU. The program includes research work, interactive classes and solving real production problems.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe focus on practice,\u201d explains project manager Tatyana Aleshkina. \u201cThe kids will work with digital resources, participate in master classes and even try themselves as engineers.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Summer school helps teenagers:\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Get to know the profession in an informal setting\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Gain teamwork skills\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Decide on the future <a data-id=\"https:\/\/geoconversation.org\/skolko-zarabatyvayut-geologi\/\" data-type=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/geoconversation.org\/skolko-zarabatyvayut-geologi\/\">specialty\u00a0<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project is popular: this year, schoolchildren from six districts of the Trans-Baikal Territory submitted applications.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The best students will be able to continue their studies in specialized classes or receive advantages when entering ZabSU.
