Such data are presented in the first ranking of graduates\u2019 employment and income, prepared by the Russian Ministry of Labor. Experts assessed how many former students were working in their field two years after graduation and what their average income was.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

Among the educational institutions participating in Norilsk Nickel’s targeted training programs, the leaders are the Monchegorsk Polytechnic College and the Norilsk College of Industrial Technologies and Services. In the category \u201cEngineering, technology and technical sciences\u201d, the Polar State University took fourth place. Also in the top 5 were the Transbaikal Mining College named after M. I. Agoshkov, Taimyr College and Pechenga Polytechnic College.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

Some of Norilsk Nickel’s partner universities have surpassed employment<\/a> and the income of graduates even from capital universities. Among them are Murmansk Arctic University, Irkutsk Technical University, Ural Mining University and Polar State University.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

80% of Polar State University graduates work in their specialty. As rector Evgeny Golubev noted, such results became possible thanks to close cooperation with Norilsk Nickel.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cThe employment of 98% of graduates and a place in the top 5 is the result of the joint work of the university and the company. Together we are developing educational programs so that students receive up-to-date knowledge and skills,\u201d explained Golubev.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n
