This was reported by the acting Head of the Directorate of Joint Projects Karina Andreeva at SPIEF-2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Agynja site in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is considered one of the most promising. According to preliminary estimates, copper equivalent reserves here reach 1.5 million tons. This year the company will focus on scheduling and testing technologies, including XRT enrichment, to improve the quality of ore before sending it for processing.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNow we are working in detail on the program to reach the design indicators,\u201d explained Karina Andreeva. \u201cThe results of the 2025 research will help more accurately assess the properties of ore and choose the optimal methods for its processing.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In parallel, Polymetal will continue to develop the Kumba project in the Sverdlovsk region, where significant reserves are also expected to be discovered <a data-id=\"https:\/\/geoconversation.org\/metally-v-tvoem-smartfone\/\" data-type=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/geoconversation.org\/metally-v-tvoem-smartfone\/\">copper<\/a>. Detailed research will determine the potential <a data-id=\"https:\/\/geoconversation.org\/ai-nahodit-mestorozhdeniya\/\" data-type=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/geoconversation.org\/ai-nahodit-mestorozhdeniya\/\">deposits<\/a> and a strategy for its development.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over the years of cooperation with junior companies, Polymetal has invested 2.5 billion rubles in 11 projects. Today, five initiatives are at an active stage of implementation that can significantly strengthen Russia\u2019s mineral resource base.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2025 will be a key year for assessing the prospects of the Yakut and Ural projects. The introduction of modern technologies and proper planning of work will allow Polymetal to strengthen its position in the non-ferrous metals market.
