This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev at a meeting of the board of Rosnedra. This amount became the largest in the history of industry financing.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Patrushev, Rosnedra must ensure a constant search for new deposits. The country&#8217;s raw material security depends on this. The state is actively attracting <a data-id=\"https:\/\/geoconversation.org\/kak-investoru-razobratsya-v-nedrah-i-ne-zakopat-dengi\/\" data-type=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/geoconversation.org\/kak-investoru-razobratsya-v-nedrah-i-ne-zakopat-dengi\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">investments<\/a> into the industry, thanks to which the amount of funding is growing every year.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over the past 10 years, investment in exploration has significantly increased reserves of gold, copper, iron and oil. In addition, open <a data-id=\"https:\/\/geoconversation.org\/redkozemelnye-metally-novaya-neft-i-pri-chem-tut-grenlandiya\/\" data-type=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/geoconversation.org\/redkozemelnye-metally-novaya-neft-i-pri-chem-tut-grenlandiya\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">deposits of rare and rare earth metals<\/a>, which are used in high-tech industries.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite its success, Russia continues to import 17 types of strategic raw materials.
