The document, formed on the basis of the experience of the Omsk Refinery, will become mandatory for oil refining enterprises within the framework of the national project \u201cEnvironmental Well-Being\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; In 2022, the Omsk Refinery became a pilot site for testing the environmental control system.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; At SPIEF 2022, Gazprom Neft, Rosprirodnadzor and the Ministry of Natural Resources signed a memorandum on the development of uniform industry standards.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; In 2023, the monitoring system received the status of a mandatory standard for oil refineries.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>What does the new standard include?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2714 Uniform requirements for emission control sensors\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2714 Automated data transfer to supervisory authorities\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2714 Methodology for responding when standards are exceeded\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2714 Digital protocols for integration with government systems\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Comments from regulators and businesses<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; Svetlana Radionova, head of Rosprirodnadzor: \u201cThis is the first standard in Russia that systematizes environmental monitoring for refineries. The experience of the Omsk plant has proven its effectiveness.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; Alexander Dyukov, head of Gazprom Neft: \u201cWe deliberately moved towards creating an industry standard. Now any plant can implement the proven methodology.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Why is this important for the industry?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; Eliminates \u201cdiscrepancies\u201d in environmental control between enterprises\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; Reduces the time required for approval of modernization projects\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; Allows you to avoid fines for non-compliance with requirements\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The adoption of the standard completes a 3-year cycle of work on the digitalization of environmental supervision.
