The fourth season begins on October 7, and the first session will focus on working with a software tool for modeling and interpreting electromagnetic data.

The organizers plan to hold eight seminars before Christmas. The program includes talks on applying electromagnetic methods in exploration: work in the Arctic and permafrost zones, studies in rift structures, assessment of subsurface heterogeneity, and data modeling and interpretation.

Announced speakers include Professor Alan Jones, Drs. Chloe Gustafson, Julian Hübert, and Chet Weiss, Professor Michael Becken, as well as Rafael Rochlitz, Nico Skibbe, and Hannah Treppke.

The organizers invite researchers and industry professionals at any career stage to present. Early-career scientists and industry representatives who work with electromagnetic methods in practice are especially welcome.

The EMinars format can vary: a research talk, an educational mini-course, or a case study. This flexibility allows academic lectures to be combined with applied stories from real projects.

The series schedule, Zoom links, calendar, and archive of past sessions are available on the project website.

EMinars is bringing geophysicists and geologists together around electromagnetic methods for the fourth season in a row.
