The documents were signed on the sidelines of the third Russia\u2013Africa summit. For Russia, the agreements were signed by Alexey Desyatkin, CEO of JSC Zarubezhgeologia, and for Mali by Minister of Mines Amadou Keita.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first document provides for creating a <a href=\"https:\/\/geoconversation.org\/en\/how-a-neural-network-finds-deposits-that-geologists-miss\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/geoconversation.org\/ai-nahodit-mestorozhdeniya\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">digital geological map<\/a> of the republic. This is a medium-scale space-geological map of two areas covering more than half of the country\u2019s territory. The map will highlight areas that are prospective for mineral exploration.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The second agreement concerns the \u201cSubsoil Use Management\u201d geoinformation system. It is intended for recording geological data, licensing, and monitoring the use of subsoil resources. The agreement also provides for training Malian specialists to work with the new system.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Alexey Desyatkin, the projects are strategically important for the republic. They will not only yield new geological data but also create modern tools for resource management. This will make information about the subsurface more accessible and transparent, including for <a href=\"https:\/\/geoconversation.org\/en\/investor-geological-exploration\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/geoconversation.org\/investor-geological-exploration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">potential investors<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cooperation turns Mali\u2019s scattered geological materials into a digital system suitable for decision-making.
