Why Salt of the Earth? This is what they say about people who love what they do. People who create and help others. The salt of the Earth is people of action. Every time I interview specialists, I see how passionate they are about their work and can talk about it endlessly.
And without metaphor, Salt of the Earth is a reference to my hometown of Berezniki, where potassium salt is mined. The first thing I learned in geology was lick stones taste salt samples to distinguish between halite and sylvinite.
