From November 27 to 29, the capital of Yakutia will host the IV Federal Forum “Digital Diamond” – a large-scale platform for discussing the digital transformation of the economy and the introduction of advanced technologies. The event will be attended by representatives of the largest IT companies, scientific organizations, telecom operators and government authorities.
The forum program includes plenary sessions, discussion panels, master classes and presentations of innovative solutions. This year, special attention is paid to the creation of digital infrastructure for the Far East and the Arctic, the development of satellite and telecommunications systems, as well as integration artificial intelligence and automation into regional projects.
Organizers say the agenda includes dozens of topics covering areas from robotics and data centers to cybersecurity and technology entrepreneurship. More than two thousand participants are expected at the forum, including representatives of industry, business and educational institutions.
One of the central points will be a discussion of the federal initiative “Arctic Synergy – Uniting the Country,” aimed at ensuring sustainable communications in the northern regions of Russia. The project will expand access to the Internet in hard-to-reach settlements and improve the quality of digital services for residents of the Arctic.
An equally important area will be the development of human resources. Participants will discuss the training of specialists for the IT industry, measures to support young engineers and incentives for creating domestic digital solutions.
The forum will also offer a rich practical part: demonstrations of innovative developments, excursions to the Polyarny Research and Production Center for Unmanned Aircraft Systems and introduction to projects in the field of additive technologies and aircraft manufacturing. Guests will enjoy cultural and sporting events, including a traditional winter race and a day dedicated to youth initiatives in IT.
Last year’s event attracted thousands of participants from across the country. This time the forum promises to be even larger, confirming the status of Yakutia as one of the centers of digital development in Russia.
The material was prepared with the support of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science as part of the Decade of Science and Technology.
