The Russian Academy of Sciences and PJSC Tatneft signed a large-scale cooperation agreement. The document opens up new opportunities for the integration of science and industry, which will accelerate the development of high technologies in oil and gas industry.
The signed agreement will help restore technological chains and strengthen ties between fundamental science and real business. As part of the partnership, Tatneft will receive expert support from leading RAS scientists in key areas: oil production, refining and petrochemicals.
An important area of joint work will be the development education. The parties agreed to join forces to promote mathematical, natural science and humanities education. It is planned to carry out events that will help integrate science into the educational process and establish strong ties between universities and research institutes.
Head of the RAS Gennady Krasnikov noted that the Academy actively supports domestic business, which requires innovation and constant dialogue with the scientific community to grow.
Tatneft General Director Nail Maganov emphasized that the agreement is based on many years of successful partnership. This is a strategic bridge between theory and practice, a proven path from scientific knowledge to ready-made technologies. Investments in science and education are investments in the future of the company and the country.
This cooperation will strengthen Russia’s technological sovereignty and will contribute to the training of highly qualified specialists for domestic industry.
