It has been a very busy year for our young media outlet. We published 35 big articles – we talked about what we really care about.
We were the first to write about artificial intelligence not only from the technical side – but also from the side of our doubts, fears and internal barriers. We interviewed scientists, university professors, specialists, discussed trends in higher education, gold and diamond mining, conflicts at work – and how to deal with them.
We launched a news section and published 720 news items. We opened the section “Explaining“, where we briefly and clearly explain how our geological kitchen is organized.
Increased website traffic from 500 to 10,000 unique users per month. Within six months, we launched and developed a Telegram channel, which has already passed the 1,000 subscribers mark. We received funding from the Ministry of Science and Education.
Behind those numbers is a real team. As the creator of the project, I could not have done it all alone.
Thank you to our authors, designer, SEO specialist, tech support – without your work, none of this would have happened.
And of course, a huge thank you to you – our readers and experts.
All the interviews I’ve done this year have lasted at least two hours. And I was happy to give you a platform to talk about how you work, what bothers you and how you solve it.
Thanks to everyone who has read, commented, and put likes – it lets you know we’re moving in the right direction.
What’s next?
In 2026, we will continue to talk about the future of exploration and mining. We will give the floor to juniors in Russia and Canada, and find out how bankers who finance exploration think.
We will interview geologists, geophysicists, geomechanics and other specialists without whom there is no industry.
All this content is born in dialog with you. Write what is interesting, what is important – together we will make GeoConversation even stronger.
Let’s do this media together 💛
