Environmental monitoring at Dalur enterprises enhances environmental protection

A modern environmental monitoring system has appeared at the Dalur industrial sites in the Kurgan region. The solution was developed by the Russian manufacturer ClimateGuard and implemented with the support of Rostelecom for round-the-clock monitoring of environmental parameters.

The ATOM-RTK Ecosystem software and hardware complex records the concentration of harmful substances, acids, alkalis, sulfates, volatile organic compounds, as well as noise levels, background radiation and microclimate. All indicators are fed into a single interface, which allows you to quickly assess the situation and improve safety at the uranium mining site using the in-situ leaching method.

The implementation of the system has been certified, and its compact devices operate autonomously, without the participation of employees. This is especially important for an enterprise: monitoring does not interfere with production processes, but quickly records all deviations and helps to take measures to protect nature. Thus, the company accelerated its response to potential environmental problems and was able to predict changes in the situation using accumulated data and special mathematical methods.

The developers and the customer have already begun to expand the project to new environments – soil, water of swamps and rivers. In the future, the system can be installed at other sites in the mining industry. Dalur emphasizes that digital monitoring has become a key step towards reducing risks to nature and human health, strengthening the reliability and transparency of the company’s environmental policy.

The implementation of the ATOM-RTK Ecosystem has become an example of how technologies can improve the quality of life and the environmental situation in the region, meeting modern industrial safety standards.

The material was prepared with the support of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science as part of the Decade of Science and Technology.
