Candidates are expected to have at least three years of experience and proficiency in Micromine and AutoCAD. The rotation schedule consists of two months on site followed by one month off, with the company covering airfare, accommodation, and three meals per day.
Another employer in Yakutia is offering RUB 310,000 net per month for a Senior Exploration Geologist. The position follows a 60/60-day rotation schedule, and applicants are required to have at least one year of experience working with hard-rock ore deposits.
In the Amur Region, Gold Standard is recruiting Site Geologists for the 2026 mining season. Salaries range from RUB 230,000 to RUB 300,000 net per month, with a minimum experience requirement of one year. Responsibilities include geological sampling, monitoring stripping operations, and supervising mining activities through December.
Geophysicists in Norilsk are offered salaries between RUB 220,000 and RUB 250,000 per month. The employer also reimburses rental housing costs for employees relocating from other regions and provides a daily meal allowance of RUB 1,000 during the rotation.
High salaries in Russia’s mining industry are largely driven by a shortage of qualified specialists and continued growth in gold production.
