In Khabarovsk, Polymetal launched modern analysis equipment geological samples An atomic emission spectrometer makes it faster and more accurate to determine metals in ore, which is critical for efficient mining.
The Central Analytical Laboratory of Polymetal in Khabarovsk has made a serious step forward in the quality of research. Specialists have introduced the latest inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometer. This modern device accurately analyzes ore in just a few minutes, determining not only the presence, but also the exact concentration of valuable metals in each sample.
Previously, the laboratory used the outdated “spilling” method. It only made it possible to establish the very fact of the element’s presence, but did not provide information about its quantity. Now this problem is completely resolved. The new equipment, manufactured in Hong Kong, has already received positive reviews from experts.
This is an important update for the mining industry across the region. The introduction of a modern spectrometer means that the analysis of geological samples will become much faster and more accurate. This directly affects efficiency intelligence and mining, allowing optimization of production processes.
Updating Polymetal’s laboratory facilities is a real contribution to the development of the mining complex of the Far East. The use of advanced ore analysis technologies opens up new opportunities for increasing the profitability and environmental safety of enterprises.
The material was prepared with the support of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science as part of the Decade of Science and Technology.
