The largest diamond mining company ALROSA is beginning a large-scale transition to the domestic 1C:ERP platform. The implementation of the new system will unite production, financial and logistics processes in a single digital space.
Full-scale implementation of the ERP platform is planned for 2028, while basic system settings should be completed by the end of 2026. The work will be implemented in stages, which will minimize risks when switching to new software.
The first pilot solutions are already being tested at the Severalmaz and Almazy Anabara enterprises. At these sites, key areas of digital transformation are being developed: automation of equipment maintenance, optimization of warehouse and transport logistics, as well as digitalization of procurement procedures.
According to ALROSA Information Technology Director Vadim Zheltukhin, the created functional basis will become a unified management standard for all subsidiaries of the company. This will improve the efficiency of resource management and speed up data exchange between departments, including remote deposits.
A separate important element of the project will be the integration of existing information systems into a single digital circuit. An integrated approach to the digitalization of business processes will allow the company to increase operational efficiency and strengthen its competitive position in the global market.
The transition to domestic software is consistent with the import substitution strategy and will ensure technological independence of key company management processes.
