An important agreement was concluded in Krasnoyarsk, which launches the process of forming a powerful scientific and industrial cluster in Siberia. Its main task is to organize deep processing of metals in the region. This ball opens up new economic prospects for the entire Angara-Yenisei macroregion.

The document was signed by the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Mendeleev Valley Innovation Center Development Fund. The project is aimed at building a full cycle infrastructure in Siberia. It will cover all stages – from the extraction of natural raw materials to the production of finished products with high added value.

Among the key areas of work of the cluster is the comprehensive processing of non-ferrous, rare and rare earth minerals. metals. Active development of new materials and modern components for the electronics industry is planned. Particular attention is paid to the introduction of advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence systems to optimize production.

As the initiator of the cluster creation, Sergei Shoigu, noted, not only Russian companies, but also foreign investors are showing interest in locating new production facilities in Siberia. They see potential in this region to expand their technological capabilities. Siberia has everything you need: a powerful raw material base and a developed network of research centers that will provide high-quality research and training of highly qualified specialists.

The creation of a cluster for advanced metal processing is a strategic step for the development of industry in Siberia. The project will combine the resources of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Irkutsk Region, Khakassia and Tyva. Fruitful cooperation between industrial giants, scientific institutes and universities with the support of the state will bring the region to a new level of technological sovereignty and economic growth.
