The Polyus company together with the Siberian Federal University (SFU) presented a new educational program “Digital Engineer”. It is aimed at training specialists in the field of IT and automation for the gold mining industry. Program participants will receive a chance to study in China, a corporate scholarship and employment opportunities.
1st and 2nd year students of SFU studying in IT specialties and areas related to the automation of mining and metallurgy will be able to take part in the Digital Engineer program. The program was developed taking into account the needs of the gold mining industry and is aimed at training highly qualified personnel.
From among the applicants, 25 people will be selected to go to study at a university in China. Program participants will also receive a corporate scholarship from Polyus, the opportunity to undergo an internship and subsequently find employment at the company’s enterprises.
To participate in the program, students must speak English or Chinese at level A2 and demonstrate high academic performance.
The Digital Engineer program is a unique chance for SFU students to gain international experience, deepen their knowledge in IT and automation, and build a career in one of the leading companies in the gold mining industry.
