Bukhara College of Oil and Gas Industry from Uzbekistan became the first foreign educational institution to join the Gazprom Neft College League. This is an important step in the development of international cooperation in training personnel for the oil and gas industry.
As part of the Gazprom Neft educational ecosystem for training specialists in blue-collar professions, the “League of Colleges” program has been launched. It was joined by the twentieth participant – Bukhara College, founded in 1974 and occupying a leading position in the educational sphere of Uzbekistan. Every year the college graduates more than 20 thousand specialists.
The educational programs of the League of Colleges participants cover more than 3 thousand students studying in 20 specialties in the field of oil and gas. Graduates of these educational institutions have priority rights for employment at the enterprises of Gazprom Neft and its partners. Teachers, in turn, have the opportunity to improve their skills at the company’s corporate university.

Dementyev noted that the inclusion of the first foreign college in the company’s ecosystem is an important step towards the development of international cooperation. Director of Bukhara College S. Usmonov emphasized that the partnership with Gazprom Neft allows students to acquire valuable skills in the field of new technologies.
Cooperation between Gazprom Neft and educational institutions in the CIS, including Bukhara College, helps improve the quality of educational programs and train qualified personnel for the oil and gas industry. This is an important step in strengthening international relations and developing the industry’s human resources potential.
