Polymetal’s own automated dispatch system, which Polymetal has been developing since 2018, is gradually becoming a standard for mining equipment management at the company’s enterprises. The solution has already been implemented at several assets and provides full digital control over the operation of dump trucks and excavators in quarries.
The system monitors the movement of vehicles, their loading, speed, fuel consumption and exact routes in real time. Instead of scattered observations, dispatchers get a complete picture of what is happening. As dispatcher Vadim Taranov says, “Polina” allows you to simultaneously be at several points in the quarry and maintain a stable rhythm, replacing visual control with information control.
At the Nezhdaninskoye field, 14 dump trucks and 6 excavators are connected to the system. The data is used for operational analysis, generation of reports and evaluation of personnel performance. Automation eliminated manual processing of information and made processes more transparent.
In 2025, this enterprise introduced automatic distribution of equipment along routes. The result is that the productivity of dump trucks increased by 11%, and the average load reached the rated 55 tons (previously it was 53 tons). Excavator operators see the exact volume of loaded ore on the monitor in the cabin, so they do not overload the machines and do not carry “air”.
“Polina” also monitors safety: it records entries into dangerous areas. Each flight is assigned a unique number, which allows detailed tracking of the movement and volumes of exported ore.
In addition to Nezhdaninsky, the system works on the assets “Prognoz” and “Veduga”. The plans include improving functionality and integration with other production solutions and improving communications in difficult areas.
Polymetal is relying on its own digital platform, which has already proven that automation of equipment control increases the productivity and safety of mining operations.
