Employees of the Dalnegorsk Mining and Processing Plant presented vacancies and internships for young people at the regional stage of the employment fair “Working in Russia. Time of opportunity” in Kavalerovo. Schoolchildren and students showed particular interest in career prospects at the enterprise.

At the job fair in Kavalerovo, the Dalnegorsky Mining and Processing Plant presented its exposition, which immediately attracted the attention of visitors. More than 50 people, including schoolchildren and students, visited the company’s stand. Of particular interest were mineral samples, including datolite, a key raw material for the production of boric acid.

HR department specialists told the guests about the full cycle of the plant’s operation: from ore mining to shipment of finished products. Fair participants were interested in where the company’s products are used. The greatest demand among applicants was for vacancies of miners, machine operators, mechanics and welders. Young people actively asked about the opportunity to undergo a paid internship.

“We offer internships in various fields – from mining to logistics. Our goal is to train personnel from school,” emphasized Elena Prikhodko, head of the personnel department of the Dalnegorsk Mining and Processing Plant.

Dalnegorsky GOK is the only producer of boric acid in Russia. The plant is developing the Dalnegorsk borosilicate deposit in Primorye. The company’s products are supplied to the domestic market and exported to Belarus, Japan, China and Korea.
