Top vacancies at mining enterprises of the Far Eastern Federal District: what employers are offering in early February

At the beginning of February 2025, the mining industry of the Far East continues to actively seek specialists. The greatest demand is for geologists, but engineers, geophysicists and laboratory assistants are also required. In some cases, the salary reaches 500 thousand rubles.

According to data from the popular recruitment service hh.ru, mining companies are actively recruiting employees to work on a rotational basis. Local companies offer competitive conditions with decent wages. For example, JSC Priisk Ust-Kara, located in the Trans-Baikal Territory, is ready to pay the chief geologist up to 500 thousand rubles per month. In turn, local geologists are offered from 250 thousand rubles in Yakutia, where companies such as JSC Prognoz operate.

Engineers and laboratory assistants are also in demand, who can earn up to 184 thousand rubles per month in the Amur region, at enterprises such as Atlas Mining LLC. Shift work requires high qualifications and experience in the field of geology and mining.

In-demand professions in the mining industry include not only geologists, but also specialists in related professions. So, at the beginning of February, vacancies are open for the following positions:

  • Chief Geologist – salary from 500,000 rubles per month. Location: Trans-Baikal Territory, JSC “Priisk Ust-Kara”.
  • Deputy Head of State Transport Service – salary from 278,000 rubles. Location: Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), JSC “Vysochaishy”.
  • Geologist-supervisor for geological exploration – from 110,000 to 220,000 rubles per month. Location: Trans-Baikal Territory, JSC “Ksenyevsky mine”.
  • Local geologist – from 250,000 rubles. Location: Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), JSC “Forecast”.
  • Laboratory engineer – up to 184,000 rubles. Location: Amur region, Atlas Mining LLC.
  • Geophysicist – from 173,900 rubles per month. Location: Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), JSC “Forecast”.
  • Local geologist category 2 – from 184,000 rubles. Location: Magadan region, JSC Pavlik Gold Mining Company.
  • Geological technician – from 173,900 rubles per month. Location: Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), JSC “Forecast”.
  • Local geologist – 207,000 rubles per month. Location: Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, LLC Management Company “Golden Projects”.
  • Assay laboratory assistant – from 150,000 rubles per month. Location: Magadan region, Omsukchan Mining and Geological Company CJSC.
  • Deputy Chief Geologist – 305,000 rubles per month. Location: Magadan region, Omsukchan Mining and Geological Company CJSC.

Among the main requirements for applicants is experience in geology and related fields. Vacancies are open to candidates from different regions of Russia, which expands the range of applicants. Many employers provide employment opportunities from other territories, but work experience and professional qualifications remain prerequisites.

Work at mining enterprises in the Far East continues to attract specialists in geological, engineering and related fields. Despite difficult working conditions, such as shift work, workers can count on decent wages, as well as professional prospects in one of the most dynamically developing sectors of the region’s economy.
