Specialists from the Rosneft Scientific Institute in Ufa have created an innovative digital platform SmartGiR. It is designed for comprehensive analysis, design and monitoring of oilfield development deposits. The new system is already helping to determine the optimal points for drilling wells, which increases production efficiency.
The platform combines 12 interconnected modules, each of which solves specific problems. For example, the Digital Drilling Rating module analyzes data on reservoir pressure, oil saturation and other parameters to select the best locations for new wells. This reduces costs and improves decision accuracy.
Another important component is “Design”, which allows engineers to select optimal solutions for different areas of the fields. The system takes into account technical and economic indicators, which makes development more cost-effective.
- Process automation – reduces time for analysis and decision making.
- Standardization of approaches – allows you to apply successful practices on new projects.
- Increased transparency – all data is checked for accuracy.
In addition, the “Reserve Structuring” module helps create long-term production forecasts for 24 enterprises, and an automatic data verification system eliminates errors in calculations.
The development of SmartGiR is in line with the Rosneft-2030 strategy, where the key emphasis is on technological leadership. The implementation of the platform will allow the company to optimize costs and increase competitiveness in the global market.
Already, forecasts for tens of thousands of wells have been loaded into the system, and its modules continue to be improved. This opens up new opportunities for oil producing industry.
Digital platform SmartGiR is a step into the future of the oil industry. Thanks to automation and accurate data analysis, the company will be able to increase production efficiency and reduce costs. The introduction of such technologies strengthens Russia’s position in the global energy market.
