JSC “NWPC” and Apatity Polytechnic College signed a cooperation agreement within the framework of the federal project “Professionalism”. The goal of the partnership is to create an educational cluster to train qualified specialists in the mining industry.
The college is modernizing its curriculum to meet the requirements employers. Students will have access to modern equipment and will be able to do internships at the enterprises of NWPC JSC. This will allow future specialists to quickly adapt to real production conditions.
The Khibiny cluster will be created on the basis of the college. Project funding will be:
- 100 million rubles from the federal budget,
- 15 million rubles from the regional budget,
- 35 million rubles each from industrial partners, including JSC SZFK.
Previously, with the support of Acron Group, similar clusters were created for the chemical industry in the Novgorod, Smolensk regions and Perm Territory. The new project continues the tradition of effective interaction between business and education.
This partnership will open new opportunities for students and strengthen the mining workforce.
