The Subsoil Use Department of the Far Eastern Federal District has announced an auction for the right to develop a promising deposits polymetals in the Transbaikal region. The Vozdvizhenskaya Square site, located in the Nerchinsko-Zavodsky district, attracts the attention of mining companies with significant reserves of lead, zinc, gold and silver.
Experts confirmed that on an area of more than 4.2 square meters. km large mineral reserves are concentrated. Two types of ores are found here: primary, which can be mined underground, and oxidized, suitable for open-pit mining. According to state expertise, confirmed reserves are:
- 22 thousand tons of lead;
- 41 thousand tons of zinc;
- 700 kg of gold;
- 53 tons of silver.
These indicators make the field one of the most promising in the region.
Applications for participation in the auction can be submitted until the end of July 2025. The auction itself will take place on August 13 in electronic format, which will allow companies from different regions to participate in it. The winner will receive a license for geological exploration and subsequent mining.
Development deposits polymetals in Transbaikalia opens up new opportunities for the mining industry. Participation in an auction can be a profitable investment for companies specializing in the extraction of non-ferrous and precious metals.
