The Ministry of Industry of Yakutia presented a large-scale project in the Federation Council
Minister of Industry and Geology of the Republic of Sakha Maxim Tereshchenko made a presentation of the Aldan industrial cluster at the Federation Council. Project, which has already begun to be implemented, promises significant economic growth and the creation of thousands of new workers places in the region.
Tereshchenko emphasized that government support is necessary for the successful launch of such large-scale initiatives. In the case of the Aldan cluster, we are talking about connecting the infrastructure, purchasing equipment and the possible expansion of the TOP (Territory of Advanced Development) status to this site. This will speed up the implementation of projects and attract additional investors.
The Aldan industrial cluster unites several key areas:
- Gas processing and fertilizer production
- Mining and processing of gold, iron and apatite ore
- Development of the forest industry
A plot of land with convenient logistics has already been prepared – there is a railway, a federal highway, a power line and a gas pipeline nearby. Geological exploration work began in 2025.
According to forecasts, by 2035 the cluster will provide:
- Increased production gold by 15 tons per year
- Production of 15 million tons of iron ore and 500 thousand tons of apatites
- Creation of more than 16 thousand jobs
- Receipt of 109 billion rubles in taxes to the budget
This project is not just plans on paper, but a real step towards the development of industry in Yakutia and improving the lives of its residents.
