A new direction is opening at the Kamchatka Polytechnic College preparation — “Beneficiation of mineral resources.” From September 2025, students will be able to master this in-demand profession in 2 years and 10 months. Graduates will have the opportunity to work in gold and other mineral mining enterprises.
The government of the Kamchatka Territory has allocated 25 budget places for training under the new program. This is an excellent chance for applicants to gain a profession with guaranteed employment. The project partner is Bystrinskaya Mining Company JSC, which provides direct access to actual production.
An educational cluster based on a technical school was created within the framework of the federal project “Professionalism”. Its goal is to train skilled workers and mid-level specialists for the mining industry. Concentrators are key employees in the ore processing chain, and their shortage is felt in many regions.
After completing their training, young specialists will be able to work at processing plants, mining and processing plants and other enterprises in the industry. Kamchatka is actively developing production gold, so the demand for such professionals will only grow.
