From July 8 to 10, the Karpinsky Institute will host a large-scale international event – a round table dedicated to modern research methods subsoil. Experts from different countries will discuss current issues in geology and outline ways of cooperation in this area.
Participants of the event will consider a number of important areas:
- Transboundary exploration of subsoil resources – how joint research helps to more accurately assess mineral reserves.
- Digital technologies in geology – the use of artificial intelligence and big data for exploration deposits.
- Geology of the Caspian region and Greater Altai – features and prospects of these territories.
- Education in the geological industry – how to prepare a new generation of specialists.
The round table is attended by leading geologists from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, as well as representatives of Cuba, Ethiopia, Mongolia and Venezuela. This is a unique opportunity to exchange experience between countries with different levels of development of the geological exploration industry.
