The modern laboratory complex MineralLab began operating in the Sverdlovsk region. Its creation will speed up the search for new deposits minerals and will strengthen the position of Russian geological exploration.

The MineralLab analytical center has opened on the territory of the Bogoslovsky industrial park in Krasnoturinsk. Investments in the project exceeded 1.5 billion rubles. The Polymetal company equipped the two-story building with almost a hundred pieces of modern equipment.

The new complex will be able to process up to 200 thousand geological samples annually. Laboratory specialists determine the content of approximately 30 chemical elements in the samples. This allows you to accurately assess the prospects of deposits in the early stages intelligence.

There are three independent sample preparation lines on the ground floor. They make it possible to simultaneously analyze different types of samples. The upper level is equipped to perform physical and chemical research under strictly controlled conditions.

Governor of the Sverdlovsk region Denis Pasler emphasized the importance of the project. He noted that MineralLab is important not only for the geological industry, but also for the industrial growth of the region. A modern laboratory creates new jobs and contributes to the influx of investment.

Andrey Novikov, director of the Ural branch of Polymetal, spoke about the growing volumes geological exploration. According to him, the company is constantly increasing investments in search operations. The new complex will provide the necessary speed and accuracy of analyzes, which is critical for making decisions on further development of fields.

The launch of MineralLab was an important step in the development of the mining industry in the Urals. The complex will serve Polymetal branches in different regions of Russia, contributing to the discovery of new deposits and strengthening the country’s mineral resource base.

The material was prepared with the support of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science as part of the Decade of Science and Technology.
