Norilsk Nickel has announced major personnel changes in its senior management. These appointments are designed to strengthen operations and strategic development in the face of changing market realities.
Norilsk Nickel has undergone important personnel changes in top management. The company relied on a combination of internal specialists and invited experts to strengthen their positions.
Evgeniy Fedorov took the post of first vice president – director of operations. He will oversee all production assets from Norilsk to the Polar Branch. His experience in the energy sector guarantees increased efficiency of the company’s key processes.
Alexander Leonov became vice president and headed the Polar Division. He represents the best traditions of Russian metallurgy – he went from a worker at a copper plant to a top manager. His deep inside knowledge of production is a valuable asset to the company.
Dmitry Amelkin has been appointed senior vice president for strategy. He came from ALROSA, where he successfully participated in developing the development strategy of a leading company in the diamond market.
These personnel decisions demonstrate Norilsk Nickel’s focus on increasing operational efficiency and investment attractiveness. The company is strengthening its management team for new challenges and strengthening its role as a driver of Arctic development.
