The Deluvialny company, which is part of the Zolotoy Aktiv group, announced the start of large-scale geological exploration work at the Tunguska field. Specialists will conduct a detailed study of the subsurface in order to obtain accurate data on the volume of gold and prepare a project for future production.
New research will allow re-estimation of reserves precious metal at the field. The work will include studying deep horizons and clarifying the boundaries of ore bodies. Geologists will use modern computer modeling techniques to create a detailed picture of the geological structure of the site. This will help determine the most promising areas for development, both open pit and underground.
It is planned to carefully measure the composition of the ores and their properties, as well as the distribution of gold. The information obtained will form the basis of a feasibility study for the future mining enterprises. The result of the work will be a detailed geological report with approved reserves.
The Tunguska deposit is located in the Momsky and Oymyakonsky regions of Yakutia. The area of the study area is more than 13 square kilometers. Completion of all stages of subsoil study is planned for the first quarter of 2029.
Carrying out such work is an important step for the development of the gold mining industry in the region. Updated data on gold reserves will help attract investment and make an informed decision on the construction of a new mine, which will open new jobs and strengthen the economy of the Far East.
