The authorities have approved a program to help coal enterprises in a difficult economic situation. Key measures include tax deferrals and compensation for export costs.
Companies will be able to take advantage of the deferment of mineral extraction tax and insurance payments until December 1. This will reduce financial load and direct funds to business development.
Enterprises exporting coal over long distances will receive subsidies. In particular, Siberian companies will be able to reimburse 12.8% of transportation costs in the northwestern and southern directions. The list of support recipients will be compiled by the Ministry of Energy.
The program also provides for the development of plans to restore the financial stability of enterprises. These will include measures to optimize costs, limit dividends and increase wages. top management. In addition, companies with high debt loads will be able to restructure loans.
The decision to provide assistance will be made by a special commission. It will include representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development, the Bank of Russia, the Federal Tax Service and Rosfinmonitoring. By June 5, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Energy must approve the criteria for selecting companies to receive state support.
New measures are aimed at stabilizing the coal industry in the face of economic challenges. They will help enterprises maintain financial stability and continue export supplies.
