Managing Director of the Yakutskgeology company Roman Danilov announced consistently high demand for specialists in the field of geology. He dedicated his speech to the key role of geological exploration for the industrial and economic growth of the region.
At the festival of professions “Yakutia – my horizons,” Roman Danilov explained why the profession of a geologist will always be needed. He spoke to students and schoolchildren in the session “Horizons of the present and future of Yakutia,” where he spoke in detail about the development of industry.
Modern geology has become a complex and interdisciplinary field. Dozens of other experts are now working alongside geologists. Geophysicists and surveyors, drillers and logisticians work in one team, IT specialists and analysts. They are all links in the same chain and contribute to the common cause. It is this approach that allows us to achieve success in the study and development of the natural resources of Yakutia.
Particular attention at the meeting was paid to the federal program “Geology: Revival of a Legend.” Festival participants learned about the large-scale work in its first stages and about the concrete results that geologists have already achieved. These projects are of great importance for the future of not only the republic, but the entire country.
Roman Danilov separately noted that industry is becoming a powerful engine of the Yakutian economy. In this regard, unique prospects are opening up for the younger generation. The region needs new geologists, engineers and technologists who can ensure sustainable development of the industrial sector. This direction promises interesting tasks and a stable career.
Thus, the profession of a geologist not only remains relevant, but also opens up wide opportunities for professional growth. Development geological exploration directly affects the economic well-being of Yakutia, making this area of activity promising and socially significant for young people.
