Sergei Yanchukov’s gold mining holding continues acquiring small exploration companies in Zabaikalsky Krai. Its latest acquisition is LLC Kudakan, which holds an active exploration license. The purchase allows the holding to expand its resource base without participating in auctions for new sites.
The change of ownership at Kudakan was recorded in the legal entity registry on September 24. The company was established in November 2025, and since June has held the right to geologically explore for mineral resources. The license is valid until spring 2030. The previous owner was LLC Resurs, owned by three private individuals, among them Pavel Olishevsky, who also heads Kudakan.
This is the second such deal with this entrepreneur: in early 2026, a Mangazeya structure purchased LLC Dalnevostochnoye from him as well. That asset holds a license to explore for placer gold in Zabaikalye valid until January 2029 and is registered in a settlement near the Kisly Klyuch station on the Trans-Siberian Railway, in the Mogochinsky district.
The portfolio is also growing through the holding’s own subsidiary structures. In December 2025, the holding established LLC BMGK at the same address, and since August the company has held rights to explore subsoil for precious metals, valid until mid-2030.
Mangazeya’s core business is concentrated in Zabaikalsky Krai. The holding develops the Kochkovskoye, Nasedkino, Itakinskoye, and Taseyevskoye deposits. Gold production grew 9.2% in 2024 to reach 2.9 tonnes, and rose another 14% in 2025 to 3.3 tonnes.
The strategy is straightforward: instead of costly auctions, the holding buys ready-made licenses and develops exploration on sites it already owns. If exploration work confirms reserves, Mangazeya will gain new mines with minimal startup costs.
