The Center 2M company, together with Achimgaz, implemented a unique IT system for geotechnical monitoring at an oil and gas field in Western Siberia. The development makes it possible to analyze the state of frozen soils and prevent accidents at hazardous production facilities.
A domestic IT development for geotechnical monitoring was successfully implemented at a large oil and gas field in Western Siberia. The system, created by Center 2M in collaboration with Achimgaz, allows you to analyze changes in frozen soils and monitor the stability of buildings and structures.
A key element of the development was a heat map, which visualizes data on soil temperature and its mobility. This is especially important for regions with permafrost, where global warming increases the risk of structural deformation.
The system has already digitized more than 20 thousand monitoring objects, processing over 5 million historical and operational data. During the analysis, objects with dangerous displacements and elevated ground temperatures were identified.
Advantages of development:
– Automation of geotechnical control processes;
– Creating a heat map for data visualization;
– Possibility of assessing the condition of buildings and structures in real time;
– No need for third-party platforms and licensing.
The system is accessed via a web browser, making it convenient for use at production facilities. The development is already included in the register of Russian software in the “Engineering Analysis Tools” class.
The implementation of an IT system for geotechnical monitoring is an important step to improve safety at hazardous production facilities. This is especially true for the regions of the Far North, where climate change creates additional risks.
