The II Far Eastern Subsoil Use Forum will be held in Yakutsk on December 5. This large-scale industry event will bring together leaders of the Far Eastern regions, representatives of federal ministries and leading industrial companies. The organizer is the Ministry of Industry and Geology of Yakutia with the support of Rosnedra and the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia.
The forum program includes twelve thematic platforms. Particular attention will be paid to the federal project “Geology: Revival of a Legend”, where intermediate results will be presented. In the coal and oil and gas sections, participants will formulate a strategy for the development of these industries for the next 15-20 years.
Separate sessions will be devoted to modern challenges. Experts will discuss prospects gold mining industry and the introduction of digital technologies in production. An important topic will be government support measures for business and import substitution programs in the mineral resources complex.
According to tradition, a closed tripartite meeting is planned with the leadership of Rosnedra, the government of the republic and subsoil user enterprises. Participants will focus on the development of geological exploration and effective public-private partnerships.
