On February 4, auctions were held for 31 sites with gold deposits in the Navoi region of Uzbekistan.

Local sources reported that as a result of the auctions, plots were sold in areas such as Navoi, Nurota, Oksokolota, Sop and Shukhsoy.

The initial cost of the plots varied from 26.3 million to 52.5 million soums (1 million soums – 7,463 rubles), however, due to high competition at the auction, the price increased significantly. All 31 plots were sold for 25.1 billion soums, which is 23 times higher than their initial cost.

The most expensive section was Sop-10/24 in the Nurata region. After more than 10 hours of intense bidding, Xinlong Mining Drilling won the lot for 3.6 billion soums, which is 110 times the starting price.

The same company became the owner of another expensive site – Sop-14/24. They offered 1.9 billion soums for it after 183 rounds of bidding. In total, Xinlong Mining Drilling acquired 8 sites, paying 9.1 billion soums for them.

In addition, Neo Gold Mining acquired four sites for 2.7 billion soums, and Zhonghuitong Mining Group paid 1.13 billion soums for four sites. Golden Diggers acquired three plots, spending 3.24 billion soums.

Ipotekaon, King of Gold Mining, Samnurgold and YVN Gold each won two lots. Companies such as AAA Human, Golden SPV One, Kamron Mir Gold and Orom Medical Center received one plot each.

The auction took place under conditions of fierce competition. For example, the Navoi-1/24 lot was played in 274 rounds, Sop-16/24 in 260 rounds, and Nurota-4/24 in 212 rounds.

The winning bidders received the right to mine gold in the acquired areas. According to the law, investors must carry out exploration work and carry out artisanal mining, observing all established rules and requirements.

Thus, auctions for the sale of gold-bearing areas in Uzbekistan showed not only high interest in this resource, but also attracted large players who are ready to invest in the promising industry.
