Recruitment agency Unicorn Resources is searching for specialists for a major gold mining enterprise. Open positions include gold recovery plant manager, chief mine surveyor, and deputy head of the production and technical department. All vacancies involve rotational (fly-in/fly-out) work in Russia.
Gold recovery plant manager. The candidate will need a university degree in non-ferrous metallurgy or mineral processing, and at least ten years of experience with gold-bearing ores, including at least three years in a leadership role such as chief processing engineer, chief metallurgist, or head of the plant’s technology service. Managing a team of fifty or more people is required. Duties will include organizing scheduled preventive maintenance and equipment diagnostics, as well as maintaining the metal balance and the plant’s reporting.
Chief mine surveyor or deputy. A degree in mine surveying and at least five years of experience are required. A valid professional development certificate and industrial safety certification in several categories are welcome. Confident command of office software and AutoCAD is required. Skills in 3D software such as Deswik or MicroMain will be an advantage.
Deputy head of the production and technical department or lead engineer. The role suits a specialist with a higher mining education and at least three years of experience at mining enterprises. Skills in drafting mine development plans for underground mining are necessary, along with knowledge of AutoCAD, Deswik, or analogues such as Micromine and Datamine at the level of mine planning.
