Four promising fields placer gold with total reserves of 410 kg will be sold at auction in the Penzhinsky district of the Kamchatka Territory on December 26. The starting price of all lots exceeds 33 million rubles, and the winning bidders will receive development licenses for a period of 5 to 10 years.
The largest of the exhibited objects is the Krutoy deposit with proven reserves of 318 kg gold. The starting price of this plot is set at 24.087 million rubles. It is interesting that earlier the companies “Romb” and the mining team “Kamchatka” had already worked at this deposit, but both ceased their activities before the start of industrial production.
The Kechichma site with estimated reserves of 70 kg of gold is offered for 6.353 million rubles. The Ravninny deposit with estimated reserves of 19 kg has a starting price of 2.727 million rubles. The smallest lot will be the Kichavayam deposit with reserves of 3 kg of gold, which can be purchased for 536.1 thousand rubles.
All deposits are located in remote areas without developed infrastructure. Their development will require the creation of temporary settlements and the use of mobile diesel power plants. The lack of roads is compensated for by helicopter service and winter roads.
The December auction opens up new opportunities for the development of the gold mining industry in Kamchatka. The sites have significant potential, although their development will require serious investments in creating the necessary infrastructure. For investors, this is a chance to acquire promising assets in one of the richest regions of Russia in mineral resources.
