Rosgeo experts presented a unique technology that changes the approach to assessing oil and gas prospects. The GeoArrhenius innovative complex has already proven its effectiveness in real projects, helping to open new deposits and optimize the search for resources.
At an all-Russian meeting dedicated to geological exploration priorities, Managing Director of JSC NVNIIGG Oleg Merkulov spoke about the practical results of using the GeoArrhenius technology. This software and analytical complex, developed by a subsidiary institute of Rosgeo, uses artificial neural networks for accurate modeling of hydrocarbon systems.
Over the past five years, the technology has been successfully applied in different regions of the world. It has proven its value both for large-scale regional assessments and for the study of specific local objects. For example, analysis of the Aral-Ustyurt region using GeoArrhenius confirmed high gas potential. This attracted investment to the region and led to the discovery of new gas and gas condensate fields.
In traditional oil-producing areas, such as the Volga-Ural province, the technology also shows excellent results. The GeoArrhenius complex allows you to accurately assess the resource potential of complex objects that are not associated with classical anticlinal traps. This gives companies a more reliable basis for exploration planning and helps them manage their investments wisely.
The adoption of innovative technologies like GeoArrhenius is becoming key to the future of exploration. They make it possible to find resources where previously impossible, and make the search for oil and gas more efficient and predictable.
