An electronic auction for the sale of rights to exploration and production of minerals has successfully completed in Kazakhstan. Through the national platform, 20 plots were sold with deposits gold, manganese, lead and asbestos. More than thirty companies took part in the auction and showed high interest in Kazakhstan’s subsoil.
These promising areas are located in ten regions of the country, including East Kazakhstan and Zhetisu. Winning bidders are now required to make the required payments within 20 business days. This is an important step to start with. practical work in the received territories.
It is worth noting that another 15 lots did not find their buyers due to lack of applications. These plots will be put up for auction again in the near future, opening up new opportunities for investors.
The unified subsoil use platform, which began operating in early 2025, has completely transferred the process to a digital format. It ensures transparency and open access to geological information for all interested parties. The online system covers every stage – from the initial application to the issuance of the finished license.
The auction clearly demonstrates the growing interest in the mineral resource base of Kazakhstan. The successful sale of sites contributes to the influx of investment and the active development of the mining industry in the country.
